lost sock
This (children’s book) is a lively fantasy… [more]

Do you ever do a laundry that you
don’t end up with one fewer socks
than what you put in?

What do you do with those poor
orphaned socks that are left over?

  • Make puppets and
    name them EdTheSock?
  • Mail them off to One Small Step?
  • Make a sock bed?
  • Cut off the closed ends and
give them to the neighbourhood kids as headbands?
  • Save them up until they inspire you to write a children’s book?

I leave the odd sock or two on a separate line in the basement and wait, and wait. If no mate is found I will wear odd looking pairs and wait again, to see if anyone notices. gah

You get away with that? Geez, if I wear white socks my daughters chide me about it right away, never mind mismatched ones!
